Andreea Caprariu

Andreea Căprariu is a Romanian 2D Animation Director based in London, UK, with an MA in Computer Animation from the London College of Communication, UAL (2023). She specialises in 2D digital animation using TV Paint, Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, and Blender; with additional skills in story-boarding, Character Design, stop motion and frame-by-frame techniques. Her work blends traditional and digital Art, often exploring VR, AI, and AR & Mapping Projection to challenge societal norms and highlight underrepresented narratives. Andreea's goal is to create thought-provoking visual stories that push the boundaries of animation and contribute to a more inclusive artistic discourse. She is interested in intersectionality, feminism and political discourse.
